About

I’m a Chilean journalist, writer, and photographer based in Boston, Massachusetts. I moved to Boston in August 2022 to pursue my degree in Journalism with minors in Photography and Media Studies at Emerson College, which I recently completed. I’m passionate about exploring the intersections of media, culture, and social justice — whether through words, images, or critical conversations.

Beyond the classroom, I’m always looking for ways to grow my craft and build community. I served as President of Amigos, Emerson’s Latino student association, from 2024–2025, and my writing and photography work have been featured in campus publications such as INDEX, YourMag, Developed Images, and Five Cent Sound. I also work as an editor and occasional blog writer at Dreamworldgirl Zine, where I love helping shape and amplify other voices.

Additionally, I worked at Emerson College’s darkroom, where I assisted students with darkroom printing and digital editing techniques, maintained a clean and organized space, and mixed chemicals.

During the Fall 2025 semester, I formed part of the Emerson Los Angeles program, where I worked as an editorial intern at Flaunt Magazine, strengthening my editorial fact-checking and editing skills within the entertainment journalism industry.

On this website, you’ll find a selection of my latest work, mostly focused on photography and writing, along with glimpses of earlier projects on Instagram @dnlbpn. I’m always updating this space with new stories, images, and ideas.
